A register of land and property in India. It has a page for every state, district, tehsil and village and for every plot on the cadastral maps, and adds ownership, ownership changes, registrations, charges, property tax, government rates, court cases and notices as each state's records are loaded. Every fact shows the government source it came from and the date it was read.
From public government records: state record-of-rights portals, cadastral maps, registration and encumbrance records, RERA authorities, circle rate lists, municipal property tax records, the Local Government Directory (LGD) and notices published by banks, courts, tribunals and the Gazette.
Every record is placed on the same spine: the LGD code of the state, district, tehsil and village, and the plot number as the state writes it (khasra, survey, gat or khata). A source that names a village lands on the village; one that names a plot lands on the plot.
No. Land revenue records such as a khatauni, 7/12 or RTC record who holds land for revenue purposes; they are not proof of title. A page here is not a certified copy either. For a transaction, get certified copies from the issuing office and have an advocate examine the title for at least 30 years.
Yes. Type a name into the search box: plots whose published holder name starts with it are listed with their village. A name is not a person, so check the village and relation before relying on a match. Names masked on request never appear.
