How CircleSaaS tiles and pricing work, and how to choose yours

CircleSaaS is a circular board of tiles, and every startup claims one. The closer a tile sits to the center, the bigger it is and the more attention it gets. That makes choosing a tile a trade off between budget and visibility. This guide explains how the tiers work, what the estimator above shows you and how to decide which tile is right for you.

How the board is laid out

The board is built in rings around a single central tile. Every tile in a ring is the same size and costs the same, and the rings get larger and more numerous toward the edge. Tiers group the rings by distance from the center: Center, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Free. Moving inward you get fewer tiles, bigger logos and higher prices.

That structure is why the estimator shows both the price and the size of a tile. Size is shown in the board's own units, and a larger number means a bigger tile and a more visible logo.

The free tier

The outer ring is free. Your first tile there costs nothing, and each extra free tile in the same listing is a flat 1 dollar a month. It is the simplest way to put a startup on the board, and you can upgrade later by claiming a tile in a higher tier.

Free tile links to your site are marked nofollow by default. You can earn a dofollow link by adding the CircleSaaS badge to your own website and verifying it, which is explained on the link checker page.

Paid tiers and annual billing

Paid tiers sit closer to the center. Each costs a fixed monthly price per tile, and you can pay by the year to get two months free. Links from paid tier tiles are dofollow. The pricing page and the estimator always show the current prices, so there is no need to memorise them.

You can claim several tiles side by side in one ring to make your logo bigger. The estimator multiplies the price by the number of tiles, with the free tier as the one exception described above.

How to choose a tier

Think about what the listing is meant to do for you.

  • Testing the waters or a hobby project: the free tier costs nothing and still gives you a listing page and a place on the board.
  • A young product that wants visibility on a small budget: a Bronze or Silver tile gives a noticeably larger logo for a few dollars a month.
  • A product that depends on being found: Gold and Platinum put you in the inner rings, seen early by anyone browsing.
  • A brand statement: the single Center tile is the largest and most prominent spot on the board.

Reading the estimator

Pick a tier, set the number of tiles and choose monthly or annual billing. The result shows the total, and the table underneath compares every tier for the same number of tiles, with the size of each, so you can see what an upgrade really adds. The tier you picked is highlighted. If you choose annual billing the estimator also shows the rough monthly equivalent.

What happens after you pick

Click the button under the results to open the board with that tier highlighted, then choose an open tile in it. You fill in a few details, upload a logo and, for paid tiers, complete the payment. Your listing goes live at once and gets its own page, which search engines can find. You can edit your listing at any time from your dashboard.

Get your copy ready first

A good listing needs a clear description. Draft it with the listing copy generator and a sharp line with the tagline generator, then see the full list of tiers on the pricing page. When you are ready, choose your tile on the board.

Frequently asked questions

Is the estimate a commitment to buy?

No. The estimator only does the sums and commits you to nothing. A tile is claimed only when you choose it on the board and complete the claim.

Can I move to a bigger tile later?

Yes. You can claim a tile in a higher tier from the board whenever you like, and the dashboard shows an upgrade option for free listings.

Can two startups share one tile?

No. A tile belongs to one listing. One listing can, however, hold several tiles side by side.

Do the prices include tax?

Payments are handled by our payment processor, which works out any tax at checkout. The final amount can differ by location, and the total is shown before you pay.

How do cancellations and refunds work?

The refund policy explains the rules in full, and billing for paid tiles is managed from your dashboard.
